Hiya,Lads and Lasses..BEHOLD! I have kept my promise! More *NEW* stuff! IT'S  the 1st of tha mooonnnth,,so today I will be showing a step-by-step of a Commission I've recently done. The  client let me go nuts on The American Psycho theme,so I picked an appropriate pose,then tweaked things like the face/shadow structure to keep it an original (it takes NO SKILL to copy a photo,IMHO really,but I digress..) drawing. Been inspired reading Sean Phillips' blog ( http://theartofseanphillips.blogspot.co.uk ,his art is fant-fucking-tastic) and wanted to "show off" to get the month started...Hope You enjoy,it was fun to do * also OPEN for these types of Commissions,btw,I have prices listed on the blog somewheres...

The Green Lantern! because it's Monday.....

HEEEEEYYYY I'm back again, new week of stuff,just like DH2! promised.  This is a piece that I may fool with some more. Not sure if I am completely "happy"(what does that really MEAN to an Artist,anyways? I digress..) with it. But anyhoo,on with the show..here is a piece I call Beware My Power, and of course it's THE GREEN LANTERN, a character I have a real fondness for (The Gil Kane/John Broome ,Neal Adams/Denny Oneil,Mike Grell stuff,specifically) growing up I fell in love with the idea of a magical ring that,as long as you have enough WILL POWER,you can do whatevs you wanted..to a kid,that idea is irresistable. Plus meeting Gil Kane (as well as Steranko,Adams,Oneil,Giordano,Dave Sim,Wendy/Richard Pini by way of Lamar Waldron when I was 12 was the life changer-I knew I wanted to do comics,but I wanted to be GOOD at  it. Like these guys.All now award winning,ground breaking Artists, who have in some cases helped change the game. Anyways, I hope you like it and comments welcome! DH2! Pencils and Finishes fer ya....

Hey HEY, a new post!!! Two in Two days! Amazing....I have so much stuff backlogged,this may be an ongoing thing :) This is a SIGN OF QUALITY- This is what you need to look for at Conventions and Shows! Colored and put together by my good buddy, Dwight Clark of SIDEBAR NATION Podcast fame- I finally feel like a grown-up, Mommy! This this travels everywhere with me and makes  for interesting conversations at home,because it's always UP instead in it's case.Man, I have been in this room too long....

WOW I have been away for awhile.Got Divorced.Moved from Florida.Stopped drawing for a while. A lot of really stupid stuff happening in my personal life led me astray. All kinds of stuff went to the wayside as I have been battling crippling depression for over two years,and now I have a handle on it,so I begin my Blogging anew.
